View Full Version : You know I forgot that Green Bay had a NEW HEAD COACH until I turned to ESPN TVFactFan 09-01-2006, 01:08 PM and saw the NFL Yearbook of Gree Bay 2005-lol Mike McCarthy is the Head Coach now and I forgot that mike sherman was let go after last season dlemond 09-01-2006, 02:34 PM What's the point of being head coach of the Packers if you are forced to have Brett Farve start? There is no coach in the league worth a damn who wouldn't have gotten another qb by this point. There is no coach in the league worth a damn who wouldn't have gotten another qb by this point. I know, everyone keeps basing his career from the 1992-97 era and not from 1999-2006 dlemond 09-01-2006, 04:05 PM I never responded on the Farve thread, but he should have hung it up after the 2003 season where he ended on an incredibly high note- having that unreal Monday Night game against the Raiders and taking his team to the second round of the playoffs. Anyone else could see that after that it was basically 'game over.' Funny, only star qbs can stick around and get playing time after they go seriously downhill. Any other qb who performed like Farve over the last 2 years would be benched. I remember saying that it will take the Packers Years to bounce back from that 4th and 26 game-lol dlemond 09-01-2006, 04:12 PM I remember saying that it will take the Packers Years to bounce back from that 4th and 26 game-lol Farve is so done. I'm going out on a limb and going to make an ass of myself, but I bet if you bet against the Packers every game this year (spread included), you will end up with plus money. Every game that Farve starts. I'm sure I just jumpstarted his career with that. TVFactFan 09-01-2006, 05:51 PM Farve is so done. LOL dlemond 09-02-2006, 11:08 AM Here was Favre's statement to a reporter yesterday-"YOU WANT ME TO QUIT?" LOL No Brett, just drag your team down with you because you want to break records. He is a Hall of Fame Qb but he is being ridiculous. It's over. As a reporter I would have said, "Yeah maybe you should quit" TVFactFan 09-02-2006, 01:38 PM No Brett, just drag your team down with you because you want to break records. He is a Hall of Fame Qb but he is being ridiculous. It's over. As a reporter I would have said, "Yeah maybe you should quit" I heard he only plans to talk to reporters this season ONCE every two weeks-lol dlemond 09-02-2006, 01:42 PM Let's check back to thread halfway through the season and see if Farve has more TDs or INTs. Hey, I'm waiting to be proven wrong. Don't expect it though. |
