Has anyone noticed that at around Season 4, Elaine became meaner and more abrasive? In the first few seasons, Julia Louis Dryfuss had light brown hair and Elaine was to just about nice to everyone. In the later seasons, her hair became black and shorter. It was about at the time that she started becoming meaner toward both George and Kramer and seemed to have less tolerance than the nice Elaine.

Yes,it seems that Elaine's character must have evolved through the seasons. I think I liked her better as the show wore on, but she was tougher and more abbrasive towards others.

Yeah. I honestly did not see Jerry change at all through the shows 9 seasons. Kramer and George slight changed, but Elaine's change was drastic to say the least.

Yes, Elaine definitely got meaner as the show went on.

She also got hotter as well...but she was always beatiful.

I like her much better as a person in the early seasons. A much, much nicer person all the way around.

George also got meaner. Maybe not meaner, but more demanding and volatile.

Kramer went from a real dork who never left his house into a hipster doofus dating models and such.

I thought Kramer was always a hipster doofus, but in the middle of the series, they just invented the term.
