I was not much of a fan of ELR when it was on CBS, but I did see it once in a while. I started watching the reruns on TBS and really got into the show. Then, I discovered Peter MacDougall.

I love this guy!!! He loved Raymond and pretty much hated Robert and that is what made him so funny for me. Also, according to Amy's parents, he was just out of control on the show.

I will have to say that this role fits him. As talented as Chris Elliot is, he seems to love portraying weird people (like Chris Peterson in Get a Life and the guy under the stairs on David Letterman) and Peter was probably the weirdest character on ELR.

ii loved him "Raymond" too! he was histerical i looooooved how attached he was to his cat, miss Puss LOL
