Okay so --the bad scammer/bad trader alert for Alex partough has been going around. For about 4 months now.


And I get an email today

I call BULL on this one.

Call me skeptical
but when I have lived with various people- although they were aware I traded
they did not know what boards, and what sites I used and so on.
The didn't know, about trader checks let alone be able to reply to one.

Second point-
If I GOT them into trading and we lived together-
I wouldn't be happy my address was being used as a bad trader address
And would clear it up.
And LAST
If I was aware they were ripping peopel off, I woudn't wait 4 months to say something.
This reaks of Pam Maples and her Dad, No her Brother, no her ex husband.

Bah.


It comes down to 2 things
Either Steve and Alex are one in the same-
or if Steve is completely innocent, then he isnt guilty of ripping people off
Just guilty of knowing his roomate was and saying nothing, not even quietly to a moderator or owner, or the other people-
When you would be in the unique situation, you could actually do something about it.

I am not sure which scenerio is worse.

My gut reaction is you are right, that this is bull. Either Alex posing as "Steve" or Alex & Steve together ripped people off, because Steve seems to know alot about the story, that most roommates would not. (IE, even my husband doesn't know what I send out, so he'd have no idea if I sent out a package for every one received or not.) And perhaps Steve thought he could continue on his own & instead got busted.

Taking motive into account and the fact that he went so long without saying anything, one could be almost certain that this is bull.

Why bring it up now when nobody is no longer trading with him? You kept quiet when people were getting ripped off, but now that nobody is getting scammed you come clean. Get lost puke!

Here's a good question. How did the roommate gain access to Alex's emails to know people were being ripped off? Do you think they as roommates shared the same email address? Absolutely not. Furthermore, isn't Alex the one who listed an address of a home in Ann Arbor that was on the market? What address is "the roommate" speaking of when he says "packages have been rolling in". Certainly not a home that noone is living in. This sounds very fishy! The BS alarm is sounding.

why do scammers try to argue facts???

i mean, a few months ago, if u recall i posted how sue maples/pam maples/etc etc (not her Evil ex-sister in law, who was the guilty one!:lol: ) was selling on ioffer again (using the FL address again, BUT shipping from Loudon TN) well, in the middle of all that mess-- SUE emailed me and said she had moved and gave me a new addresss in KS or MI, i forget which one (SHE JUST WANTED TO CONVINCE ME THAT THE PERSON IN LOUDON TN was NOT her)
well i noticed ANOTHER AMAZING COINCIDENCE---- that account is closed now with about 15-20 bad comments, BUTTTTTT a new acct is up and running based out of.... u guessed it, LOUDON TN!!!! (with the same list and exact same wording of ads????)

NOW i cannot say with 100% accuracy this is indeed her----- BUT it sure seems likely dont u think????

TALK ABOUT AMAZING COINCIDENCES

2 roommates share a place--- BOTH JUST HAPPEN TO BE TRADERS---
BOTH JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE THE SAME LIST---
BOTH JUST HAPPEN to have access to the same ISP#s and email accounts
BOTH just happen to have complaints against each

and one posts a fake address with a house thats for sale??????

again, i cannot say 100% BUTTTTTT it sure seems like if its not true, there must be a big conspiracy going on
