I wonder why Fred didn't seem to concerned with Lamont leaving the room in the middle of a poker hand. He was concerned about Skeeter's bogus dealing, but even if Lamont himself had dealt the cards, him constantly leaving the room to go deal with Fred gave Skeeter and the rest of the "crooks" perfect opportunity to simply grab a better hand from the deck. Even if Lamont didn't figure that one out, Fred should have known better.
