I am fairly new here & I have a question, can we trade movies?
I know everyone trades tv shows, but I don't think I have seen people trade movies.

could someone tell me what the rules are for movies?

thanks

People trade movies as well, and the rules are the same as for TV shows. The rules are above, but here's the link:

so do you post what channel you recorded from when you trade, like TNT or HBO?

I don't think it's necessary to post the source, unless someone asks you.

While not necessary, I think it would be nice. Some channels cut the movie more than others. Also, I'd much rather have a movie from HBO than from TNT since on the TNT recording you would probably cut out the commercials. When you're watching a movie with commercials it isn't as obvious but when you cut the commercials out, the results don't always mesh together right.

If you trade movies, like 95 percent of the posters here will ignore you. I collect workprints and rare and independent films and have advertised such on here in the past and received maybe one reply. Try the usenet group alt.video.tape-trading. It seems the scope of things to trade for is more diverse.

Just my two cents.

Good luck.

I'm looking for The Incredible Shrinking Woman starring Lilly Tomlin.
