Thanks for the booklet posts Laugh30. The story is good but whoever did the drawings wasn't big on likenesses.

...you'll notice the drawings of the chararcters aren't EXACTLY what they look like on TV, 'ph1l'. The artists Sawyer's used to illustrate those booklets weren't sticklers for "detail" {I noticed that Charles Lane and Elvia Allman don't look exactly like "themselves" in those pictures, either!}...no one ever expected those booklets and reels to last 40 years and counting! Imagine what "THE ADDAMS FAMILY" and "DANIEL BOONE" looked like in THEIR booklets! The dialogue is still funny, though! Wonder if they used a first-draft script?

They're obviously talented artists so I'm guessing something to do with copyright in the drawing characters department perhaps.
