First Wives Club- Waiting To Exhale rip off

Actually both these movies were based off of books that came out in the very same year, so they aren't really rip offs.

Yeah, I thought of that, I seen WTE, I haven't seen FWC. The reason why I posted it was a rip off was because I believe WTE hit the theatres before FWC. I don't know which movie was the bigger hit, but they are I guess the same, except one is black, and the other is white.

I Know What You Did Last Summer- Scream rip off

Daredevil- Spiderman rip off

Summer and Scream were written by the same person...Kevin Williamson, so it wasn't a rip off.

Daredevil and Spiderman were both characters spun from comic books by Marvel, so they weren't ripoffs either.

The Substitute- The Principal rip off Actually, "She's The Man" is a "Just One Of The Guys" rip-off. And "Aquamarine" is a "Splash" rip-off. "Cheaper By The Dozen" is a "Yours Mine & Ours" rip-off. Plus, all the old movie remakes are also wearing thin. YM&O, War Of The Worlds, Poseiden, The Longest Yard, all are remakes. It's like Hollywood is running out of new original ideas. Hostel is a Saw rip-off also. Also, Rush Hour 1 & 2 is a rip-off of the Lethal Weapon series.

Cheaper By the Dozen and Yours Mine & Ours were both movies based on real life families...so they can't be rip-offs of anything. Those families exist.

How exactly was "Just One Of The Guys" a "Karate Kid" ripoff?

Aside from the fact that the girl kinda had a Ralph Macchio haircut...

;)

Funny you said that...they did tell the character in the movie that she looked like "the karate kid"...

Is that what you meant Kool?

Just One Of the Guys- Karate Kid rip off

These don't have anything to do with each other. Just One of The Guys is about a girl who goes undercover as a guy to prove her essay was treated unfairly because of her gender . The Karate Kid is about a boy who learns karate so he can battle his bullies.

What I hate abt these movies, is the fact that someone decided to REMAKE THEM...the originals are the best.

What I hate abt these movies, is the fact that someone decided to REMAKE THEM...the originals are the best. Exactly. I know what you mean that they're based on real life families. It's just that they are similarly made and then REMADE for modern times. And you are right, the originals are the best. I hate it now that Hollywood is trying to remake all the old movies, or do a direct copy under another name. It's like they are running out of original ideas. Also, another REMAKE is The Bad News Bears, too. Too many remakes going on, don'tcha think??

Yup, and the plot was similar to Karate Kid. William Zebka (the bully) played in both movies as the same type of character. They even made reference to the Karate Kid like you mentioned. I liked Just One Of the Guys, but it looked like a second-rate version of the Karate Kid to me.

That actor that played the bully almost always played someone like that. I know he played a bully in some other movie, maybe two. Talk abt stereotyping. I figured this is what you meant in your comparison to the two movies.

Almost every animated film that Dreamworks puts out is a Disney ripoff, since Michael Eisner left Disney, and gave Dreamworks all of Disney's ideas.

Yeah, that definitely wasn't a Karate Kid ripoff. The stories weren't even remotely similar, except for the whole bullying thing. The girl in that movie was hot btw!! Best part was at the end, when she showed that one guy that she was really a woman!!
