HOLLYWOOD - Angelina Jolie spent 30 minutes in a car outside a Hollywood party on Wednesday, after realizing her estranged father, Jon Voight, was in attendance.
Jolie and boyfriend Brad Pitt took the night off caring for their three children Maddox, Zahara Marley and Shiloh Nouvel to attend the actor's Ocean's Twelve costar Scott Caan's 30th birthday at Los Angeles' Julian's Gallery.

Pitt left Jolie in the vehicle and entered the party to see Caan, shortly before Voight decided to leave.

After realizing her father had left the building, Jolie finally joined the bash, reports PageSix.com.

Voight and Jolie haven't spoken to each other since 2002.
