I would like to see Season 3 as well. Season 2 ended with Muriel still pregnant and season 3 opens with the birth. The unfortunate thing about season 3 the show went downhill because of the birth of Andrew. Again, as I stated in previous posts on this subject, it was done because Nancy Dussault was unhappy with lack of development in the character of Muriel Rush given she was the lead actress.

What I understood that her and Ted Knight did not get along very well especially after she went public about her feelings regarding the show, the quality of it and the way her character was written. Nancy Dussault was an underrated actress. She is an excellent actress who is at best do comedy and can sing remarkably well. I did like that the show highlight her singing where there were a number of episodes where Muriel got to sing. Nancy Dussault have a powerful voice. The episode at the opening of Season 2 when she found out she was pregnant and she sung Zing with the Strings of My Heart. OMG what a powerful performance she gave in that episode when she sung.

I reckon it's insulting they haven't said anything what's happening after putting a DVD cover up to the people who bought Season 1 and 2

I emailed Rhino Entertainment who released the first two seasons and asked about season 3 release and onward....here's what they said......

Dear Desiree,

We do not have current plans for this release, but thanks for your input. I’ll forward your letter to our suggestion box.

I haven't been able to find any seasons of this excellent show here in Canada... :( I would love to own those on DVD. That show was an important part of my childhood---I have many fond memories.

Hello,

If you google the title of the show, you can find both Season 1 and 2 DVD sets available for purchase on Amazon and other websites. I was able to get the rest of the seasons from a seller on sell.com who is living in Canada where you are.

Regards, Desiree

Rhino said they will not release anymore seasons on DVD. So, I doubt it ever well. You're only solution is private sellers. It worked out well. I had no problem. Also, you can hope it comes on TV Land sometime and email them to appeal.

Yeah, it sucks that they showed the coverart and then cancelled the release. All I can think of is some pompous @ss was an obstacle in licensing due to money involved and now no one gets anything because of it and the show suffers because of it. It happens way too much because of greedy executives. It's too bad people are so stupid when it comes to money.

Yes, and many times it's because they don't want to give royalties to the stars of the series, and that stops them, too. They would get a percentage. So, it's a shame all around.

I have e-mailed both DLT Entertainment and Anchor Bay (who said they will look into it since they released the complete "Three's Company" series). Go over and send them a message. Maybe they will do it.
