Now that all the seasons are done on DVD, are you disappointed that half of the sets lacked real extras? The two commentaries on the 6 & 7 were great, but 5 really bombed and 6 & 7 were not much without the commentaries. 8 looks set to be pretty poor aswell.

The Don Knotts tribute was just a bunch of clips, which I have on the DVD, while it was nice to watch - surely, some interviews with people who knew him would have been better?

I'd really have hoped for more commentaries, with writers/directors/cast - they could have done a lot more.

Although I am very happy with what we did get, it is a lot better than most shows - I get the feeling that TC wasn't Anchor Bays top priority after the Carsey-Werner shows came along.

The Extras are a lot better than a lot of classic shows. While I would have liked to see a few more things including an interview with Priscilla the most important thing is that the episodes are uncut. That takes priority.

That takes priority.I agree that there probably should have been a little more, but I am thankful for what I have got. You are right, having the complete uncut episodes is the 1st thing. I read on here that the dvd releases of ALF are all cut and issued as the syndicated versions.

Yea their's a few of the DVD sets that came out that are syndicated prints. SO has a DVD Review page (The link's at the top of the page), where they have reviews of all the sitcoms that have been released. They pretty much tell you if any's been cut. It comes in handy when you're going out shopping.

I'm a little disappointed, but at least the series is complete and affordable.

I too was a bit disappointed, but at least the shows are uncut. I wished they could have had the remaining cast speak about Don Knots, as well as Audra and Norman.

I wish they had more bloopers on the dvds. I have a very rough bloopers tape and their are some great ones on there from Season 3 I think and Season 8. I would really like to have those on the dvd set. :(

I don't buy DVD's for extras (it's nice if they have them), just for the uncut episodes is enough to satisfy me.

My point exactly.I care more about seeing my favorite episodes unedited than the extras

I'm not disapointed because what matters most is having the episodes in their entirety. The extras are a nice to have, and I do agree that the extras for seasons 5-7 weren't really extras, LOL but I am happy to have the episodes uncut.

The worst was the season 6 DVD where they advertised The Best Of Three's Company with Lucille Ball as an extra. That was no extra. That was part of the TC episodes. That should have been on the DVD anyway.

I'm a little disappointed also. It's nice having all the episodes uncut, BUT I really wanted a Priscilla interview. I was looking forward to one as soon as I heard season 1 was coming out :( Never did get it.

I don't think that is ABs fault, she probably did not want to do one. Like in the TC book.

We can't blame them for no Suzanne either, but frankly - I doubt I would want one with her, she'd push the DVD cost up twofold.

I'm very happy with the releases. The coverart and packaging is well-done. We got some extras which is actually a lot. Many tv shows on dvd don't offer any extras at all. Most importantly, the episodes are uncut and crisp. I am grateful that Anchor Bay took such pride in Three's Company on dvd.
