View Full Version : Who Knows?
SitcomGyrl1955 08-23-2006, 03:11 PM I'm sure Solomon knows the answer to this question. Esther Rolle's sister was in an episode of GT. Which episode was it, and has it ever been shown on Nick at Night or TV1? I'm pretty sure I saw the episode because I watched every one of them back in the 70's, but can't remember seeing Esther Rolle's sister. :)
retrochick9 08-23-2006, 03:17 PM I don't know the answer to that, I'd be interested to know. I read that Esther Rolle was one of 18 siblings!!! That's like having a classroom full of kids at home!
Brieannas21 08-23-2006, 03:52 PM Where did you hear that? I haven't heard of that one. I don't think Esther Rolle's sister/s were ever on GT's.

As soon as I read this thread I went to look at my Good Times dvds and both episodes are located on disc 1 of the second and third seasons. It's pretty obvious to tell which ladies are Esther's sisters.

When I was at Wal-Mart about a month ago, they had all of the seasons of Good Times on sale for $14.44. I went last week and didn't see any more. I bought most of mine during Best Buy's buy-one-get-one-free sale earlier this year.

That's correct... Esther was the TENTH (!) OF 18 kids in her family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
