Not in *imaginary* land ;) Ireneparalegal 08-23-2006, 02:33 PM I can't wait for the new season. T-Greg 08-23-2006, 02:36 PM Not in *imaginary* land ;) Just hope it doesn't come out until the show is almost over. That way, you can keep the fantasy alive longer. rosered 08-23-2006, 02:41 PM With my luck, if past seasons are any indication, all the eye candy'll get jettisoned by the time the tribes merge anyway. Sigh. T-Greg 08-23-2006, 03:21 PM I just hope this season is more exciting than Exile Island... It should be. I just read that teams are being divided by race this time. No kidding! http://ap.wwltv.com/dynamic/stories/S/SURVIVOR?SITE=WWL&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=ENTERTAINMENT.html&CTIME=2006-08-23-13-58-18 rosered 08-23-2006, 04:00 PM Do we know if they are bringing back the "Exile Island" concept? tdf4077 08-23-2006, 06:01 PM Adam, Brad, and JP = good pics! Melonhead00 08-24-2006, 09:53 PM I'll bet he's gay. Prove It T-Greg 08-24-2006, 10:33 PM Prove It I don't need to. I think it will come out soon enough. No kidding! http://ap.wwltv.com/dynamic/stories/S/SURVIVOR?SITE=WWL&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=ENTERTAINMENT.html&CTIME=2006-08-23-13-58-18 Yeah, my brother sent me an article about how NY officials don't want to air the show bc they think it is wrong the way they have decided to make these teams go up against each other...I mean come on now...couldn't they think of a more correct way to divvy these people up?! This should cause much stir today I think... T-Greg 08-25-2006, 09:33 AM Yeah, my brother sent me an article about how NY officials don't want to air the show bc they think it is wrong the way they have decided to make these teams go up against each other...I mean come on now...couldn't they think of a more correct way to divvy these people up?! This should cause much stir today I think... I believe this season will be scrutinized by viewers like no other. You may think this is far-fetched, but imagine how racial stereotypes might play into people's feelings about how things develop. For instance, the black team might be offered something that normally would be innocent by normal standards (a racially diverse team), but having an all black team being given a watermelon as a reward would send Jesse Jackson on the next plane to CBS. Maybe that's a bad example, but some things might be more subtle, yet, with the over-scrutiny, someone is going to pick up on it and cause a stir. Yet, it might be completely innocent. puertaazul 08-28-2006, 09:25 AM I can definitely see where you are coming from. People pick up on small things so easily, especially when there is something like race involved. It is definitely going to cause more criticism from audiences...but it may also liven up the ratings for the show due to people's interest or curiosity in seeing how the producers will develop it?! May go either way I guess. Brent88 09-14-2006, 01:49 AM IT PREMIERES TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's that time again. |
