Just wondering, does anyone think the Miami Dolphins will be a serious bid to win the AFC East & unseat the Pats as perrinial favorites?? Just wondering because I feel like the pendulum is swinging as the Dolphins are up and coming & the Pats, I believe, have taken a step back. We maybe could possibly win the division & make the playoffs, barring any major injuries, of course. Any thoughts??

I think the Dolphins will probably contend this year. They ended last season pretty good and I think they have one of the best young coaches in the league. I don't know if it'll be enough to unseat the Patriots though. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. The AFC East has always been a pretty tough division.

If they do, it won't be because of their quarterback. I'd be very surprised if Culpepper has a good year. Even if his leg is fine, he's a turnover machine. For a year or two, he has had more fumbles than most teams did in the entire league. But, I can see his leg being a problem for him..he's probably going to be a little more apprehensive about getting hit, and he may end up throwing more INTs.

They may end up having a better year than the Bills and Jets, but I don't see any possible way for them to even touch the Patriots.

I think they are going to improve, but I think the pats will win the division if they keep deion branch and lawrance maroney if he continues 2 preform well they could still be a legitimate contender for the championship

Seems like whenever the Dolphins MIGHT be up for contention they always screw it up at the last minute!! Been a Dolphins fan since I was a kid, and it doesn't look like they will ever be as good as they were with Marino!
