This is the first time I've heard of a player beating up a manager. If Lilly didn't do it, I'd like to know who did. Gibbons had it coming.

Lilly should probably be suspended for being defiant. But yeah, Gibbons has a bloody nose coming to him if he's gonna start something with a professional athlete (if he indeed did physically attack him).

It isn't the first time a player beat up a manager. That was nothing compared to what Lenny Randle did to Frank Luchessi in 1977.

I can't believe that baby-faced Ted Lily took down his manager. If he did it, it was definitely Gibbon's fault. Did Shea Hillenbrand say anything about this incident?
