whenever "Wings" is called like "Cheers II" or something? In the TV book I have, it calls Wings as a Cheers II. Then it compares all the characters, instead of just discussing "Wings" and it's characters, it compares it's characters to Cheers.
Now I like Cheers, and if there was no Cheers, there would be no Wings. I just get mad that they always have to refer to it as, another Cheers. I was at Amazon for season three of Wings, and in their description of the show, it was comparing it to Cheers.

It really bothers me to see Wings referred to as Cheers II. Sure, the two shows do have a few similarities, but if you look at every single TV show ever made, I'm sure you'll find that many shows will have something in common with another show. You never see Friends get called "Seinfeld Jr." or Grey's Anatomy get called "ER Lite".
Personally, I think Wings is better than Cheers. I like the characters on Wings so much better than most of the ones on Cheers.

Bugs the heck out of me. These two shows are such polar opposites IMO. Plus I think Wings was the better show of the two as well.

I also can't stand when they call Wings, Cheers II. There is no comparison and they need to stop that. Wings went on for 8 seasons, it should have its own identity now.
I'm going to start calling ER, Chicago Hope II.

My mom and sister get annoyed when I refer to Grey's Anatomy as ER Junior. I really don't see any differences between the two shows. The only difference is I used to like ER before it became the soap opera it is now.
