Did you guys/girls see a special on "The Real Amityville Horror" over there? It was on Ci on Fox here (Australia) on the weekend, not sure I believe any of it (The House being haunted) I mean. Hell I wouldn't even think of living there but it seemed to me like a ploy for the owners after the 6 killings to tell a story and make money.. Also Ronald Defeo came across as just a insane drug user in my opinion, I don't believe one word he said. One thing that didn't quite add up though was how 6 people could be gunned down and no-one, not the next victim or neighbours heard a thing..Anyways if you seen it what did you think?

Defeo is a piece of work. Not only did he murder his entire family, but then pissed on his sister's grave by blaming the whole thing on her. Jerk.

I saw a special the other night.....I don't know if it was the same one, though. This one was on A & E called 'First Person Killers' or something like that. Defeo kept saying after the murders he didn't know what happened and that he was scared. He kept insisting that he didn't know what he did at first and that he was in shock.

How could someone wipe out there whole family and tell authorities that it wasn't them, that they don't remember what happened? Then, to blame it on another family member. It's possible that 'demons' took over his personality as there have been some strnge happenings in that house but something tells me it might have been pre-meditated. Or, he could've just 'snapped' and had a short period of amnesia following the killings. What do they call it, when a person doesn't remember what transpired after a traumatic experience?

I could be wrong, tho.
