I was just reminded of this game show from a fellow poster on another thread. I totally forgot abt this show. It featured everyday people who represented their city/town in these funny games/races. They had a celebrity edition that featured at one time, The Bradys against the DeFranco Family (a singing group...link provided below). Does anyone else remember this game show? It also featured a very young Regis Philbin who worked the sidelines.

I remember seeing the original Almost Anything Goes when it had a short run on ABC. Even memorable were the stunts, including a team carrying a loaf of bread across a greased pole. The show had other incarnations, including a Saturday morning (later moved to Sunday) version titled Junior Almost Anything Goes, with Soupy Sales as the host and "Fast" Eddie Alexander calling the play-by-play. Another version also ran in prime access syndication under the title All Star Anything Goes. This version featured the casts of TV competing against each other. The host was Bill Boggs, who hosted Midday Live on Channel 5 in New York, the scoregirl was Judy Abercrombie and Los Angeles sportscaster Jim Healy was the play-by-play announcer.

None of these versions had a long run, even though the format was based on the British show It's a Knockout.
