applauded when Florida came into the scene? As she exited out of her bedroom in her robe, the audience clapped wildly. I know they did this when she returned for Thelma's wedding, but I am wondering, is this the only other time the audience did this applause?

Come on Irene, lol All that talking we did about Maude???-lol They applauded because she had played Maude's maid for 2 years.

I KNOW THAT DEAR...:lol: But what I am saying is, is that the only time the audience applauded like that for anyone on GT (i should have said that initially, i made it seem like only Flo) not counting Bookman, either.

The ep Getting Up the Rent was the very first ep of Good Times and that's the crowd applauded like that when she made her first appearance on the set. I think they applauded like that for that women who played the social woker
