I really hated this episode. I just liked the part of Mr. Gaines and his wife. Who by the way, was played by a different lady then we see in the later seasons.

Bebe Drake did covet the role of Velma the season before (season two). I don't know why the actress from the 9 to 5 tv show played Velma then Bebe took the role back in 1991? Strange.....

Yeah I thought that was strange also, I think it was like 2 or 3 years later she eloped with Colonel Taylor.

But what I am saying is that she wanted a wedding, not to elope...she wanted her family there.

She also did not look good at all in that wedding dress. It didn't fit her broad shoulders very well.
