I haven't heard how the set sold, but IMO, if The Facts of Life, which just came out in May, is planning it's third season for November, then that says something.

I hope S2 of CiC comes out, but frankly, I haven't even gotten S1 yet. It has been roughly six months since it was released. Doesn't bode too well, which kinda sucks.

Mine was the last one at the DVD store I was in...it only cost $22.99. Not bad...it was really the last one at my DVD store, for sure.

I got mine for $22.99 the day it came out & there weren't that many left when I got mine, so I'm guessing it sold well in my area, at least.

That reminds me...I should go check Best Buy, Circuit City, or Target (I've never seen the DVD in Wal-Mart). I still hope this shows up in reruns on cable again soon (this could be a great fit for i/Pax, ABC Family, or The N). None of my locals have picked this up to my current knowledge.

I'm sorry to hear that the season one DVD set didn't sell well. I love the first season. I bought it the first day it came out and am very happy to have it in my collection.

Same is true in my area! I find it very odd that Wal-Mart, which usually carries just about every new DVD that comes out, did not have this available. :confused:

I didn't know a CIC DVD had even been released. I hope they release Season 2 and beyond, since I liked the later seasons a lot better (OK...most of that was due to Nicole Eggert....but still). I remember reading that due to poor sales, they stopped producing Boy Meets World DVD's. I hope the same thing doesn't stop more CIC seasons from being released.

Or it just means that the store you went too only ordered a minimal number of copies because they expected it to not sell well at all.

It is starting to look like the second season will not be released. I don't think that they should have used the sales of the first season to decided if they were going to release further seasons. Even though the Pembroke season is my favorite, the Powell seasons are more well know (especially among younger fans) and would probably have sold better.

Yea what the heck is happening with these shows? Though season one is really my favorite (as well) it would be nice to see some of these later shows.

Well, on the CIC season 1 dvds, they did preview an episode from season 2. So, hopefully that is a good omen and there are plans to release season 2.
They should have released season 2 on dvd first. I know that would seem unusual. But, season 2 was the first season of CIC as a first run syndication show. Nicole Eggert and Josie Davis would increase sales.
