Today I opened a can of progresso chicken noodle soup and poured it into a bowl and ate it without heating it up it tasted quite good actualy. has anyone ever done that before?

no, but I have eaten hot soup that has cooled alot. It tastes ok.

No, I've never done that. However, cold soup is a common Spanish dish called gazpacho (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gazpacho).

I've never had hot soup before. I imagine I'd prefer it to be hot, though. I generally prefer heated food to cold food (I make some exceptions - I like sandwiches, and I like ice cream, and the like, but if it's food that's traditionally heated up, then I prefer it to be hot.)

Take baked beans, for instance - I don't like them cold.

i've never eaten a whole bowl before but i've hd some of it cold. it tasted good...but it's better hot.

I've eaten lots of things cold but soup has never been one of them.
