Those of you that are thinking of purchasing "Magilla Gorilla: The Complete Series" on DVD today (August 15), wait a minute. Allow me to explain. According to an email I received from TVShowsonDVD.com on Sunday, the release of Magilla Gorilla to DVD this Tuesday has contained a few flaws in the set. One for example, says the Magilla Gorilla theme song is missing from the entire set or from various episodes in the 23 episode collection.

Also, various blogs and animation experts say that the video transfers in the set range from fairly decent to down right poor, one person said these are the worst video transfers ever to exist in a classic cartoon DVD collection.

Warner Home Video later admits the mistake and commited a major disappointment not only to the employees who were part in the restoration effort to make classic cartoon fans very happy but disappointed and even angered fans greatly.
