I saw the new Tvland lineup and saw that they had dropped S&S in favor of The Jeffersons Murphy Brown and 227. There making a big mistake.

Bet after awhile they have to bring S&S back because theres no way the Jeffrsons murphy brown and 227 can draw the ratings S&S did.

Sanford and Son is not gone totally. You can catch it every Wednesday night at 12 am part of a mini-marathon. S&S is my favorite show, but you have to admit, it was time to reduce it. I have all six seasons, so I am not complaining. You don't want it to get stale. It's time for other shows, to have the limelight. The only thing that disappointed me, is that this board died down in the mist of TV Land airing it. I don't know where all the fans went. I know we all have lives, myself included, but I wanted this board to come alive the way Good Times did when TV land first picked it up.

I disagree, I really enjoy watching S & S on Tvland.

Sanford and Son can bessen on Wednesday Night's from 11:30 pm until 3:00 am and is re-aired on Thursday Mornings from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm

I always get a good laugh, I don't care how many times they air the episodes.

They came down in price. I saw season 3 at Best Buy for 20 dollars. For some reason though the other seasons were 25 dollars.

Agree! As much as I watch all three shows, N@N plays all three too much. You can see all of the on The N, or TBS, or Oxygen. They have ran Roseanne, Cosby, and Fresh Prince in the ground.

As for Sanford and Son, I think that since shows of the 80's and early 90's are now the 'new' classics and T.V viewers of the eighties and nineties(like myself) are now getting older plus the high demand for shows like these, that TV Land bumped this show. I do remember when Bewitched, I Love Lucy and shows of the 50's and 60's were on N@N but was bumped due to the 70's shows. I guess every decade has it's moment to shine and right now it's the Regan/Bush era.

What's your point????? Everyone has had time to tape them or record them on DVD. So I see it in the same category, it's on all the time EVERYDAY.

I feel as long as a show is not complete on DVD it's ok for it to be shown on cable. Not 8 times a night though. FP should be complete on DVD like S&S by this time next year

Well I feel like it's been over played along with other shows like Roseanne and Cosby. So they should give FP, Roseanne and Cosby a break and try some new shows for once.

I completely agree with that! Bring out the more rare shows that you can't watch on any other network!
