I'll be buying it first day, even though I didn't catch up on all the previous seasons liked I planned to. So I probably still won't join in any specific discussions for a while.

Do you have more retail or tape traded DVD's ;)

I can't imagine storing all the ones you have. I would run out of space really quick.

I was thinking of buying season 5, but since it is coming to TV Land I really don't see the need to anymore. I like the show, but a lot of the DVD's I buy aren't on TV at the current time.

Matt season 5 won't be on TV LAND until Late September or sometime in October and the DVD is UNCUT

I live in Athens, Tennessee which is a small town. The Wal-Mart Supercenter here does not get The Jeffersons DVDs until weeks after the release date. I do not know why. It is very frustrating. I will only be able to get Season 5 tomorrow if I drive an for an hour up to Knoxville's Best Buy. If I do not do that then I will just have to order it from Amazon and hope it arrives by the end of the week.

I know what you mean, and I live in Atlanta! I can never find the Jeffersons releases on the firt week. Wal-Mart never has it in stock, and I usually drive out about 20 miles to the nearest Sam's Club to buy it. I attempted to buy the sixth season of "Good Times" on August 1st and Wal-Mart didn't have it in stock either. I decided to stop fooling around and just order them both from amazon.com. The gas price for my trip outweighs the extra amount that may come from amazon.com anyway. I got an e-mail saying that the order shipped today. I think I will do this from now on...

Ive looked in our local ads here, no ads for The Jeffersons season 5. I called Walmart and checked Circuit City, no luck on either getting them in tomorrow. I guess I'll be ordering with Amazon then. Kinda disappointing when none of the local stores here will have it. I think they would sell more if they advertised it. But I am still definitely ordering it tonight. Hopefully we can get season 6 sooner than we did the others. Can't wait to watch season 5!:) :crazy: :wave:

Even though I don't plan to watch it until Saturday, I still get it the DAY it comes out so I can just HAVE IT-lol I never want to say="I will just wait until Friday" because I can go to my local store and they may not have any left. And I can't order from amazon because they delivwr through UPS and I'm at work during the day
