View Full Version : Any Classmates With The Same First And Last Name Of A Celebrity?
Family Ties Forever! 08-14-2006, 02:50 AM In school were there any classmates of yours that had the same first and lastname as a celebrity?
When I was in 3rd grade (1988-1989) there was a girl named Shannon Doherty. She's not the same person though. I looked up the actress Shannon Doherty and she was born in 1971 so she wouldn't have been in elementary in 1988-1989. Here's the class picture from that year. The girl in the top right corner (row 3) is Shannon Doherty. I'm in the back row (row 4), which isn't visible in this attachment.
Please don't quote the picture, thanks.

swedeace 08-14-2006, 09:30 AM Hmmm....I can't recall anyone with the same name while I went to required schooling, but I do recall a couple of close names when I was in college.
One of my co-worker instructors is named Don Adams. And, I had a college classmate nearly ten years ago whose name is Julie Roberts. She used to say, "It's almost like Julia Roberts."
robyrob 08-14-2006, 10:51 AM nope.
i DID know a guy once who's name was Harry Bolls though - he wasn't famous or anything, he was actually kinda a jerk; he used to enjoy the look people would give him when they first met him and he'd shake their hand and LOUDLY proclaim "Harry Bolls, Harry Bolls gladtameecha Harry Bolls"
swedeace 08-14-2006, 10:59 AM Oh, yeah....and there's a famous desktop publishing author in Santa Fe (my state capital) named Robin Williams (http://www.amazon.com/s/104-7676520-1536761?ie=UTF8&index=books&rank=-relevance%2C%2Bavailability%2C-daterank&field-author-exact=Robin%20Williams). Nighthawk76 08-14-2006, 02:02 PM No, I didn't know it. Cool.
She changed her first name to Julia because there was already an actress working in Hollywood at the time named Julie Roberts.
Nighthawk76 08-14-2006, 02:03 PM You really should. I love her first album, but now I think I like her second even more.

swedeace 08-15-2006, 02:44 PM DON ADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did oyu make any Get Smart Jokes? If you didnt or havent seen the show, thats just sad
Nope, I've never made any jokes to him about it. I was never really into detective-/mystery-type series/sitcoms, so I never watched these kinds of shows. In fact, I didn't even pay attention to the actor's name until years after I knew my co-worker. I thought that was pretty interesting!
Actually, my co-worker instructor's first real name is Charles, but he goes by his middle name which is "Don." So, yeah, that's pretty interesting. I should ask him if he's ever seen the show. I'm sure he has.
JNSBSB 08-15-2006, 02:51 PM I knew a kid once named George Jones, and he was black.
And, while not a kids name, I've lived within an hours drive of a town in Maryland called Chevy Chase. No kidding. There's a town in Maryland near D.C. called Chevy Chase. LOL
Karen64 08-15-2006, 09:44 PM My brother's name is Stephen King.
