I'm getting a bunch of shows this week. However, there's no one big show that I'm excited about.

I bought "The Weird Al Show" last Tuesday at Best Buy. I had no idea I was getting an early copy of it. lol

Despite earlier comments I made, I have decided to continue my "3rd Rock" collection. So I counted season five, although I'll wait and get the others first. I only have season one as of now.

Here's what I voted for:
3rd Rock from the Sun (The Complete Fifth Season) (Anchor Bay)
Flying Nun, The (Season Two) (Sony)
Full House (The Complete Fourth Season) (Warner Bros.)
Hogan's Heroes (The Complete Fourth Season) (Paramount)
Hong Kong Phooey (The Complete Series) (Warner Bros.)
Jeffersons, The (Season Five) (Sony)
Magilla Gorilla (The Complete Series) (Warner Bros.)
Simpsons, The (Season Eight) (Fox)
Weird Al Show, The (Complete Series) (Shout! Factory)

Well no, but I've been meaning to lose some weight anyways. ;) Seriously though, I live with my parents. They feed me. I work and use most of my paycheck on DVDs. This will stop once I get my own place. I'll still buy DVDs, but obviously not as many and not all at once like I do now. I've got to get all that I can now, I don't know how much longer my parents can put up with me. ;)

After reading some unfavorable news on "Magilla Gorilla" I have decided not to purchase that DVD. I also probably won't get season 8 of "The Simpsons" right away since I really don't watch any of the other seasons on DVD. "The Simpsons" is very dear to me, since the first season was the very first season set I've ever bought.

I'll probably not end up getting Magilla either, and I was really looking forward to that. It was a favorite of mine growing up.

As for buying all the dvds, maybe it's a good thing. Once you've got your own place, you'll at least have something to entertain yourself with fewer people around.

I'll definitely go without cable. I'll find ways to cut down so I can support my habit, er, I mean my collection. :)

I have never seen Magilla Gorilla, but was looking forward to getting the DVD. They have been doing such a great job with the other cartoons. I like to get these cartoons, not only for me, but for my potential son and/or daughter. Don't worry, I didn't get anyone "in trouble". ;) Just for whenever I have kids. I'd like them to grow up on the classics.

Well I got all the ones I said I was going to get (minus Magilla Gorilla). However, I got a bonus. I picked up season one of "The Bill Cosby Show" today. It was a Best Buy a week early!
