View Full Version : Episode Discussion for Tonight's Episode-"A Friend in Need" TVFactFan 08-12-2006, 02:12 PM Let's the Discussion BEGIN, the Jeffersons are BACK dammit!!!!!!!-lol Brieannas21 08-12-2006, 02:42 PM I thought it was suppose to be a marathon, Is that the only episode they're airing? When I checked my satellite guide that was the only episode they had listed. If that's the only episode then I'm gonna miss it. Ireneparalegal 08-12-2006, 02:54 PM It is again stupid ass TVLand with their idiotic schedules...WTF are they really thinking over there???? Obviously they are NOT THINKING. TVFactFan 08-12-2006, 05:57 PM I thought it was suppose to be a marathon, Is that the only episode they're airing? When I checked my satellite guide that was the only episode they had listed. If that's the only episode then I'm gonna miss it. I don't know when the marathon is but starting tonight, the Jeffersons will air on TV LAND every night at 9:30pm Ireneparalegal 08-12-2006, 06:20 PM I don't know when the marathon is but starting tonight, the Jeffersons will air on TV LAND every night at 9:30pm That is so stupid for them to air one episode nightly and then have the marathon LATER...typical TVLand. TVFactFan 08-12-2006, 06:23 PM That is so stupid for them to air one episode nightly and then have the marathon LATER...typical TVLand. I can deal with one AIRING a night which will keep it FRESH and the Good thing is that it's on every night. So I'm cool with it Pavan 08-12-2006, 07:11 PM It is on TV Land and Nick@Nite. TV Land - Everynight 9:30pm, weeknights 7 & 7:30pm, Thursdays 12am-4am, Fridays 12pm-2pm; 28 total airings/wk Nick@Nite - Fridays 10pm-2am; 8 total airings/wk TV Land Labor Day Weekend Marathon Sat., Sept. 2 at 6am - through 6am Tues., Sept 5. That's 72 hours! Having a marathon before a show launches is not like some sort of given thing. FrankCostanza 08-12-2006, 09:32 PM It's on, baby! It's on! The Jeffersons has returned to national television at last. Here's to hoping that it never leaves again, even after the DVDs all come out. Wawwie 08-12-2006, 10:16 PM Let's the Discussion BEGIN, the Jeffersons are BACK dammit!!!!!!!-lol Thank you so much, TVResearcher (Solomon?) I would not have ever known that The Jeffersons were on tonight if it wasn't for you. It was so great to see that show again as I have not seen it in many years. Of all the sitcoms theme songs, I love The Jeffersons theme song the best. Hearing it again reminded me of when I was a kid I would sing and dance like a crazy woman to that song. LOL. I can remember doing my dance to "beans don't burn in the kitchen" while wearing my Holly Hobby pajamas. LOL. And I had almost forgotten about how much of a doof Tom Willis is. Speaking of dances, I LOVE the nerdy Tom Willis dance! LOL. I love this show so much. And I like the original Lionel much better than that replacement they had for a while. Oh! Mother Jefferson. She's so wicked to Louise, but she cracks me up. "Now, don't you pick on George!" Ha ha! Wawwie 08-12-2006, 10:19 PM starting tonight, the Jeffersons will air on TV LAND every night at 9:30pm Hallelujah!!! nlearfan 08-12-2006, 10:23 PM The pilot remains one of my favorite episodes of The Jeffersons. Other one's that'll be airing any day now are "Jenny's Low" and that one where Louise and Jenny smack Lionel in the face, and then Mother J. almost does. TVFactFan 08-12-2006, 10:27 PM The pilot remains one of my favorite episodes of The Jeffersons. Other one's that'll be airing any day now are "Jenny's Low" and that one where Louise and Jenny smack Lionel in the face, and then Mother J. almost does. I like Jenny's Low because of George and Alan Willis trading Insults-lol Lionel The playboy is the ep when Lionel gets smacked by Jenny and Louise Wawwie 08-12-2006, 10:30 PM I like Jenny's Low because of George and Alan Willis trading Insults-lol Lionel The playboy is the ep when Lionel gets smacked by Jenny and Louise I thought Alan looked too white to be Tom and Helen's kid. In real life, Helen (Roxie Roker) has a son with a white man. He's Lenny Kravitz and he doesn't really look all too white. nlearfan 08-12-2006, 10:33 PM I like Jenny's Low because of George and Alan Willis trading Insults-lol Lionel The playboy is the ep when Lionel gets smacked by Jenny and Louise Yeah, the end of that episode is one of the Jefferson's funniest moments. And then George can't defend himself so he goes "Your mama" to Helen. TVFactFan 08-12-2006, 10:45 PM Yeah, the end of that episode is one of the Jefferson's funniest moments. And then George can't defend himself so he goes "Your mama" to Helen. OH Yes, George and Alan playing the Dozens, April 1975 George: Dig where I'm coming from your Whiteness? Alan: I dug where you were coming from yesterday chump and you ain't cool George: say what? Alan: i say your teeth is yellow and your breath is bad, get out of my face before you wish you had George: Look you better get off my back and leave me alone because the teeth you save will be your own Alan: If it wasn't for the fact that you were five foot two, like white on rice I'll be all over you George: when you are in my house you better show some respect with your elephant ears and chicken neck Alan: If you want respect you gotta earn it so cover your nose before I burn it George: Look at this elite N**Ger wolfing at my door, with your yellow behind i'm going to wipe up the entire floor CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!-lol Brieannas21 08-13-2006, 01:33 AM Sorry I missed it.
