I just found out tonight that Mike Douglas passed away. I believe he was 81. It was great of him to have Freddie cohost the show with him, and have Mike Douglas surprise Freddie with his parents appearing on the show with him.
Rest in peace Mike Douglas we will miss you!

For the record, I have a kinescope copy of Fredie Prinze on one from December 1974. Here are some pics if you haven't seen it before.

He had a good show. So sorry to her about him. Wish they would show old re-runs of his show & JOhnny Carsons & Dinah Shores etc. He will be missed...

Mike was wonderful with Freddie. To tell you the truth I thought he had died long ago. Maybe because I didn't hear anything about him.
I wonder if he wrote a book? It would be interesting to read it.
