 Hello, I was just wondering if anyone else thought about why on some of The Walton's episodes when they had guests, like on the show called The Actress or when the house caught on fire, they did'nt use the guest house for the actress or to house some of the family when the fire broke out. I've just always wondered if anyone else thought about that. I know they used it at other times. Thank you and have a nice day :)

They had no guest house. Only the house and the barn outside. The reason for them having guests a lot, is bexause they were the type of people to always lend a helping hand. IMO, I thought it was pretty crusty(nervey) for cousin Corabeth to just 'drop in' unexpectly.

But remember on the episode, The Chivalry, the newly married couple stayed in the guest house. :)

That was some old cabin that was abondoned. That wasn't a guest house of theirs.

Actually, it was the shed which was later converted to a guest house. I remember John-Boy used it as an office for the Blue Ridge Chronicle.

In this morning's episode, "The Estrangement," Olivia said John-Boy converted the old shed into a study, but he never uses it.
