the fact that

1. It had 11 seasons?
2. George never left the show?

See with Good Times it's easy to get tired of it because the Father is gone after the 3rd season on top of the show only being six seasons. Same thing with S&S, Redd Foxx leaves the Show briefly and on top of that the show only had 6 seasons. But with the Jeffersons it had 11 seasons in George was in every single Ep. So It would be a long time before I ever got tired of watching this show

Good Times had it's moments...it didn't help either that they played the show so many times in one day...it made the series get stale real fast.

The Jeffersons, I can't ever recall getting tired of it because it would be shown only once a day in syndication for as long as I can remember.

11 seasons and 255 episodes, I don't think anyone will tire of seeing it because the rotation will be wide.

And I still haven't seen the 80-85 era that much which is why I'm also glad to see this show back in syndication

I'm looking foward to seeing the two parter with Russell Johnson. I like the Jeffersons, but I really haven't seen that many of them. Maybe 70 or so, so I am looking foward to the rest.

Oh I like that cruise ship episode. Very mysterious. Russell was good in it.

But you could use that same logic the other way around. Considering that George was in every episode and the show lasted 11 seasons, you could say that you'll know what to expect year after year, episode after episode. Because the James character was killed off of Good Times and they brought in new characters, there was variety in terms of storylines that may not have been there if the James character was still around. In that respect, you could figure you'd get tired of the Jeffersons easier than Good Times. I'm not saying that's how I feel myself, just playing devil's advocate.

Never, The fact that is no absence of the Central Characters makes it extremely hard to get tired of in addition to thwe show not being complete on DVD like Good Times and Sanford and Son

Okay, in that respect I understand what you're saying, in terms of watching the show on TVLand when it's not complete on dvd.

Exactly, S&S and GT is now all complete on DVD and it's time for other shows to be discovered in syndication

Yes it went downhill but still more watchable than

Both seasons of That's My Mama
Last 2 seasons of Good Times
Last season of Sanford and Son
Last 2 seasons of Cosby Show
Last season of What's Happening

LOL
