Have you presented a review for the DVD sets? Love to hear your thoughts on them...

I have read reviews on Amazon regarding the quality of the DVDs not being up to par (as far as audio/video quality). It seems to me Rhino put more time into the packaging rather than restoring the picture/sound for it. Although with some of the blurriness/different film textures in some of the episodes lend to the charm of feeling like you have original prints without tampering.

What are your thoughts on this?


BTW, I know you had contributed to the trivia portion of the DVD sets (Great Job!!).

I do have both sets and haven't seen them for a while. I just started watching them last night and I do have a few quibbles in terms of sound quality - most notably the tv show being much softer than the menu section ---> not to mention there is no "Play All" feature. I find though that it's mostly like the videos that they put out a while ago.

BTW, still loving your website and always happy to learn about Monkees trivia through you.
