Was he ever profiled on UM?
He is another guy along with Donald Eugene Webb that I think should be replaced on the FBI top ten most wanted list. He is probable in Cuba and wont be caught ever.
Yes, he was profiled on UM during the 1993-94 season. However, the actual spelling of his last name is Gerena.
The case of Victor Gerena was back in the spotlight last September, when a gunfight at a farmhouse in Puerto Rico resulted in the death of a longtime fugitive named Filiberto Ojeda Rios.

Though Victor Gerena may still be a fugitive, one of his cohorts was recently apprehended in Puerto Rico:AP article (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jl7LZcMgSUsPqpaOnPqmy7sKh7Dg?docId=949eb34184b04c83b797a662b07ef9ed)
With this arrest, Gerena is the last remaining fugitive involved with this case.
He is suspected to be living in Cuba.

I read this a few days ago on the dailymail. Victor Gerena is mentioned way toward the end regarding US fugitives still believed to be hiding out in Cuba. (Tupac's aunt is also mentioned.)

OFF TOPIC - I don't know what the guy who's the focus of the article was thinking running off to Cuba. He didn't even speak spanish! I guess he does now, after being sentenced to 15 years in one of their prisons.
And he's a black american. I thought it was well known that Castro and his dead buddy Che, who might have had similar political beliefs to this guy, hated americans and really hated black people? Has Castro's regime ever welcomed other like minded, but not very well known, blacks such as this guy? If I were this man, I would have rather stayed in the US and took my chances with my own countrymen. Scary.... what he got himself into over there.
