View Full Version : is the The Beverly Hillbillies vol 1 on dvd in color studd911 08-07-2006, 06:24 PM hi i have a question are the The Beverly Hillbillies vol 1 on dvd in color or b&w and are they showing any original deleted scenes that are not shown in syndication treky 08-08-2006, 01:50 AM yes, it's in black-and-white, because the first 3 seasons were filmed that way; as were most TV shows. And, yes, they do have scenes that are edited out in sydnication. For instance; in sydnication; at the beggining; after they show the credits Jed points to something and they all look over-but you don't see what he's pointing a It was a billboard advertising Kelloggs corn flakes. (Kelloggs and THE AMERICAN TOBBACO COMPANY were the shows sponsors) And they show the pilot episode INTACT:) And they show a lot of commercialls that the cast did! (a generous HALF-HOUR of them:) ) (back then, cast members of TV shows had to do commercials for the shows sponsor or sponsors.) comedyfreak 08-09-2006, 04:04 AM What I enjoyed about the tv commericials were that they related it with the particular episode they played that week. In one commercial they mentioned Jed's neighbor from back home. |
