Maybe its just me, but watching the opening credits at the Zoo - I can't help but be annoyed.

There is so much over acting and silly-things going on.

John doesn't overact.
Joyce is doing something sensible.
BUT
Priscilla/Terri - who would do that? Pelican stand thing? Its just madness.
Richard Kline - that is the worst case of overacting I have ever seen, when he sees the Elephant and turns to the camera.

Don Knotts, its a silly situation, but he is truly the only funny part of the credits.

Even at the end when the trio walk away and Terri is shot to the side, it looks so fake and staged.

I can't imagine why the acting seemed to drop so much during the credits, its not like that in the episodes.
