nick pretty much sucks now. that Mr. Meaty show looks awful. the only good shows left are Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob, Drake and Josh and Ned.

It's sad that probably the best show left is Rugrats. What happened to Nick? No Doug? No Are You Afraid of the Dark? No classic Nick stuff, like Hidden Temple, Double Dare, etc?

I would love to see Doug Again The Last Channel I saw Doug was weekday's at 3:00 pm on WUPL

I'm with Pav. I grew up with all that stuff. That and Disney classics (Dumbo's Circus, Adventures in Wonderland) and some PBS fare (Sharon, Lewis & Bram, Zoobilee Zoo). I miss all that stuff. Nick was my favorite though: Doug, Rugrats, Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life (although most are on NickToons), Weinerville, Roundhouse, Hey Dude, etc.

Sigh. The 90s were full of such odd and quirky shows!

I grew up on Rugrats, and it's a shame they don't show it more. It is one of my all-time favorite cartoons. I have Nicktoons Network, which does show Rugrats, Hey Arnold, etc. But it's not the same. They kind of toss them aside and show new stuff like Martin Mystery and Kappa Mikey or something...I don't like that stuff. I think they should have a special network dedicated to old-school Nickelodeon.

They could show Rugrats, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Hey Arnold! for the cartoon part.

And then My Brother and Me, Are you Afraid of the Dark? Hey Dude, Figure It Out, Kenan and Kel, etc. etc. as well! Man! I haven't seen those shows in so long!

As for some of the newershows on Nick,
I am an absolute fan of Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron, Drake & Josh, and Ned's Declassified. The rest of the shows kinda suck....

By the way, in Nick Junior, I wish they still showed Little Bill! I LOVE that show!

It was. But Doug was originally a Nickelodeon show before Disney took it and made it something different. I personally prefer the Nickelodeon episodes.

I loved this show. They had great stuff on back then but to me Nick has turned to crap in the past years.

The Amanda Show is still going to be on the air? That show last aired a new episode in 2002.

At least the new or as I like to call it fake All That is off the air.

Yes I know. I wasn't implying it was coming back with new episodes. Just that Nickelodeon normally does not air reruns shows that have not had episodes that long of time.

I agree the only shows I watch on Nick are Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents and Jimmy Neutron (though not as much as I used too).

Nicktoon TV showed great promise at first but now its gone to crap now.

i only watch neds declassified, and that's when i catch it.

none of nick's new shows interest me, and none of the current lineup interests me either. it's pretty sad.

boomerang and nicktoons all used to have good programing, but now bommerang shows old CN shows, while Nicktoons pushes newer shows that still air on Nick over shows like Rocko or Hey Arnold.

guess it's all about the ratings.

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but The Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour 3 was the last episode for both shows. :( It was their "series finale" so to speak.

I think it was a good way to go out, although I wish they didn't have to! Those shows are ingenious! :lol: But at least they'll always live on in reruns!

I know, it sucks big time, especially since the other cartoons they air pretty much suck except for SpongeBob, which is also at its end I believe. They don't even air Rugrats or Hey Arnold! on that network anymore. :( I am not a big fan of their new Nicktoons either. Kappa Mikey, Avatar--I think I'll pass. :rolleyes:
