who ever has the dvd of i dream of jeannie are there any original deleted scenes that are not shown in syndication

when roger first finds out jeannie is a genie roger blows into jeannie's bottle and makes her sneeze that wasn't shown on tvland. and in what ever happened to baby custer we meet jeannie's aunt fatama wich wasn't shown on tvland. in season 2 where tony almost got rid of jeannie forever we see jeannie wearing a black wig that wasn't shown on tvland.

..."sliced out" in the "videoprints" shown on TV LAND (and in syndication). In the pilot episode, the entire sequence involving the "keshtee" [phonetic Farsi for "ship"] that Jeannie summons for Tony- which turns out to be an ancient galley ship- was not shown on TV LAND. The scene in "Guess What Happened On the Way To the Moon?" where Jeannie approaches a semi-conscious Tony in the tent with the "baktu malani" {"hot chicken soup"} was omitted, as well as a few seconds of Roger trying to eat Tony's boot, and slogging through the desert before the helicopter picks him up at the climax. In "The Marriage Caper", the beginning of the last scene, where Tony is practicing what he's going to tell Melissa before she arrives, just as Jeannie brings him a drink {"In the first place, I don't want YOUR ex-boyfriend telling me where I'm going to honeymoon.."}, is missing. The entire scene where Jeannie reads aloud from the magazine article on "The E-Man-Ci-Pation of Modern Woman", after Tony leaves the house, is not in the current broadcast edition of "The Americanization Of Jeannie".

And, I don't know if this is so on the DVD set, but the version of "Russian Roulette" I saw on TV LAND was "reconstructed" from a negative that lacked most of Richard Wess' original music score, AND the original laugh track. NEW music cues were added, or those original cues left on that print were repeated, with the new laugh track sounding a bit "forced".

A portion of the scene in "What House Across The Street?" where Jeannie and her mother "adjust" her make-believe parents' appearance before Roger shows up {"He should look as if he has money"} was sliced away on TV LAND, as was the beginning of the scene where Dr. Bellows is seen in his car, driving past Jeannie's "phantom" mansion on HIS vacant lot, and reacting to it in bewilderment, was missing as well. In "Too Many Tonys", the scene where Jeannie keeps blinking in and out of Tony's sight three times before he starts arguing with her about the wedding...only her last reappearance is in the "syndicated" version.

There are other examples, but I'm sure you get the idea. The DVD edition IS complete...but you don't get to see the original "Screen Gems" logo at the end of each episode (as you did on TV LAND).
