Sharop 08-03-2006, 07:07 PM You'll think I'm crazy, but my advice is to try to enjoy school while you're there (unless you have really, really horrible experiences there.) You'll probably miss it when you have to leave. I love school. I just have to get all better. :) Plus when I was in school, I didn't have any friends, I didn't go to any parties, so I'm guessing I'm not missing much. I just have to get all better. :) Plus when I was in school, I didn't have any friends, I didn't go to any parties, so I'm guessing I'm not missing much. You start your senior year the same day my brother starts kindergarden  Nighthawk76 08-04-2006, 07:03 PM Honestly, I get so sick, I can't even worry about that. I just have to get all better. :) Plus when I was in school, I didn't have any friends, I didn't go to any parties, so I'm guessing I'm not missing much. They said homeschooling is better for my health, so..:) I thought that you had graduated, Kelly. Goes to show what I know. Nighthawk76 08-04-2006, 07:04 PM Good luck! Tootie 08-04-2006, 07:37 PM I start the 23rd of course I don't give a **** about it I'm excited about cross country even tho I havent practiced much. Nighthawk76 08-04-2006, 08:59 PM I'm guessing that in her state a child must be five by Sept. 1st to start Kindergarten. She probably had to wait a year to start Kindergarten with her birthday falling in Oct. which would explain why she didn't graduate high school last year. That and the fact that she's only 17. :) Yeah, you are probably right. Here in Illinois as long as you turn five by late October you can start Kindergarden in late August at four years of age. Buffyboy323 08-05-2006, 05:32 AM OMG! Kristin, is this Summer School or normal school??? Scoobiedoo30 08-05-2006, 11:40 AM it seems that school start's early every year I have a Friend who start's School on August 10, 2006 and my Cousin's Start's School on August 15, 2006 PZelda 08-05-2006, 11:53 AM You know what I just realized? A large bunch of people here are seniors/starting their senior year. Half the people that have replied to this thread will be seniors. That's scary to think about. Then, in May/June 2007, everybody will be announcing their high school graduation. That said, I return to college on August 22. I have to go pick up my books the week before, not really looking forward to that. But it'll be my last semester at this college, and I can go on to an university for my last two years, in the spring. EmoJoe 08-05-2006, 12:27 PM i don't think i'll be completley dreading school this year. i'm hoping that i'll like high school...:grr: everyone, or almost everyone, says it's better then middle school. Raven-Symone 08-05-2006, 07:58 PM I don't go back to school til Sep 6th KristinHerreraFan 08-05-2006, 09:34 PM I actually liked school. This year is pretty good to be honest I got some cool teachers. BUT! I HAVE "C LUNCH" Courtnee 08-05-2006, 11:16 PM i don't think i'll be completley dreading school this year. i'm hoping that i'll like high school...:grr: everyone, or almost everyone, says it's better then middle school. it is. It's a lot better as long as your involved in stuff. Don't be a humble harry!!11 whatever that means... swedeace 08-05-2006, 11:32 PM I'm guessing that in her state a child must be five by Sept. 1st to start Kindergarten. She probably had to wait a year to start Kindergarten with her birthday falling in Oct. which would explain why she didn't graduate high school last year. That and the fact that she's only 17. :) Yeah, that's how it is like for New Mexico too. A child must be age five to start Kindergarten that academic year, even if school starts during the second week of August (next week) this year. Required public schooling will start next week sometime (I think Wednesday or Thursday) of next week in my city. As far as the Fall term at my college goes, classes will begin on the 29th of August. I didn't take any required classes this summer, so I am back in the groove of taking a class (Non-verbal Communication). I was burnt out, so I wanted the break. |
