hey happy days fans i forgot to mention that when i called paramount pictures they told me that the dvd's of happy days will eventually come out but they told me that they are still waiting for the original clearence music rights and that they are still working on them, the guy i spoke with had told me that they want to get happy days shown on dvd season shown with its original footages and all of the music, and i asked him what was the hold up, and he told me that the artist who did the music to happy days has been dead for a long time and the music rights are somewhere in another state and that they have been giving the company fits just by trying to get a hold them and its cost lots of money, but from what he told me, they are still working on the rights, thats all i have to report i hope that this info that i have been given you all is somewhat good news later

By "the artist who did the music to happy days," do you mean Max Freedman, co-writer of "Rock Around the Clock?" He died in 1962, so I suppose that's who it is. Even so, if they were able to secure the rights for the release of the first season, why's it such a hassle this time around? Something doesn't seem right. Is it another song you're referring to?

Good news! But I think Ike Cole did the Elvis songs. He may have passed away. I wonder if Elvis liked the show and might have sung on it!
