boy was buffolo butt lazy and loved to take advantage of the evans by eating up all of there food when he had a wife and a home to go too,, always wanted to throw them out into the street whenever he had his way, ripping them off by making james in the episode the family business fizing all of the appilanes that he bought in to the apartment, and threating to shot down the rent party for wanda if james did not putt him on the show, bookmn realy made fools out of the evans, what was the purpose of bookman being on that show any way, he never fixed anything and always complainning about stuff that he does not do, do you think that if james was still on the show he would beat bookman down or would they still be at each others throats

I think Bookman was initially cast to be a foil to the Evans family, but once Amos was written off the show, he was made a regular and changed from a foil to a friend.
