Okay so I stopped watching like sometime during season 3 so I have a question. Weren't the characters sophomores when the show started? So how did the show stay on the air for 6 years? Did they follow the characters post-college? That seems dumb!

For Years I thought Denise was a FRESHMAN was ADW started in 1987 until it was brought to my attention that her Freshman year was OFF SCREEN during the 1986-87 season on the Cosby Show. But All the other students were freshmans and after the 1991 season, i think Dwayne and Whitley were WORKING, I think. Someone probably can answer the question better than me

Kim was a medical student and she ended up being dorm director (Whitley's old job), Dwayne and Whitley of course married and we saw them at home, Freddie was entering law school, Ron had one course he had to finish in order to graduate...the new kids that were brought in like Jada Pinkett were still in college, they were juniors I believe.

Whitley and Jeleesa were both Sophmores when the show started. Jeleesa graduated on time but Whitley stayed another yr to take some business classes because she changed her major. Dwayne was a Freshman when the show started and he graduated on time. And since Whitley stayed an extra yr, she ended up graduating with Dwayne. In the second season Freddy and Kim came in the scene and they were both Freshmen in the second season

When the series ended, everyone had graduated except for Kim and Freddy and that's because Kim was in Med school and Freddy was in Law school.

During the last season of the show Dwayne and Whitley were out of school and had jobs. They just still hung arund the college for some reason.

During the last season you didn't see Whitley on campus but Dwayne was a professor at Hilman in the last season, and Whitley was a teacher at a middle school.

So it sounds like this show was at it's best during season 2 to season 4. Correct?

Personally seasons 2-6 I liked very much, there was some episodes I didn't like in the 4th season. Seasons 5 and 6 were good. If you actually watch them I'm pretty sure there will be some episodes that you'll like.

But I have to say "Twelve Steps of Christmas" episode in the 5th season wasn't good and it even had Debbie Allen in it. BUT the episodes " Love Taps" and the episode where Ron and Dwayne end up in jail, those are my favorite episodes from the 5th season.

That ep was Good when Ron and Dwayne ended up in Jail. Just saw it recently

That is an awesome episode. I never get tired of seeing it. Seeing Dean Cain at his WORST, and the theme of the episode makes for great television viewing.

Yeah Dean Cain was at his worst in that episode. But I still had a crush on the guy :lol:

Now I have to say that I really liked the twelve steps of xmas. Debbie Allen was truly funny in that ep. I loved the passing of the fruitcake from one scene to the other. I like "love taps" as well. My favorite parts were when the characters has their own versions as to how the fight broke out at the Hillman/Avery game.:lol:

To me, the only funny parts in "Twelve Steps of Christmas" episode was when Jaleesa brought out the raw Turkey and when Debbie Allen came in and she was on the couch and her wig falls off.
