:D Yaahhooooo!! It's finally here. It's Hazel's Day for all of us. I'm going to buy 2 sets just to show you how nuts I am for this show. Now let's all hope Sony will continue to release ALL seasons of Hazel, the greatest show on earth! :talk: :) :D

I looked for it in Target and they didn't have it.:(

I checked Target, Walmart, and Best Buy. Neither Target or Walmart had it, but Eureka! Best Buy did have several copies. Unfortunately they were charging $30 for it. I see it on Amazon for $10 less. The way you have to go on a safari to find this show tells me Sony is almost guaranteeing the sales won't be "thru the roof" on this, just cause you can't find it to buy it. Hazel needs better distribution to all stores not just at Best Buy whose name is a joke when it comes to the "best buy", Best Buy should call themselves "List Price".

Picked up my Hazel today at FYE for $29.99....that store is getting better, it used to be very overpriced.....they are also one of the few chains that carried the "Alice Favorites" DVD.

That's the same price Best Buy charged. Amazon has it for $10 less.

Well, as of today it's # 64 on amazon's list of top sellers in DVD's. I think that's pretty great, seeing Here's Lucy is at *8000. Hazel all 5 seasons is what we need!

First of all I want to thank manny006 for the additional details regarding Bobby Buntrock's death, regarding the location and and where he was layed to rest. I guess he was just another child actor that lost direction after the show ended. From what I've read in previous threads his mother lost her life a year before at that same location. Makes you wonder weather it was an accident or intentional.

I have been looking for Hazel series on DVD and I had convinced myself they weren't going to release it. Has anybody checked Barnes and Noble or Borders? I'll buy them as they become available. I have taped the series on VHS whenever I discovered it was being run, although some of my tapes are 20+ years old and I've had to repair them several times.

Just a quick note to remind everyone that on September 28 is the 4yr anniversary of the passings of Whitney Blake and Robert Lieb (Diedrie's husband) on the show. They passed away on the same day, Whitney on the east coast and Robert on the west coast.

You's guys really ought to read the thread from the beginning. As far as Where is it? I already answered I went to Walmart, Target, & Best Buy and only Best Buy had it, but charged $10 more than Amazon charges. Another person here said he got his for the same Best Buy price ($30) at FYE, so FYE & Best Buy are places to pay $10 too much for it, but if you don't like buying offline, then that's your best bet, otherwise get it from Amazon for $19.49. ;) OK, start your engines, & git to buyin'.

I bought mine at J&R for only $19.99. They are located in Downtown Manhattan, NYC. But for those of you who don't live in NY, they are also online & always have the BEST PRICES!!!

Got the discs yesterday. The episodes look great and are uncut. Nice job by Sony. If there is one negative thing to say about this show, it's that the character of Hazel can get a little overbearing at times. She is pushy, obnoxious and bossy. But she means well. Mr. B. was this hot shot lawyer during the day, then he came home to be bossed around by Hazel. After four seasons, Poor Mr. B. couldn't take anymore and fled the country. His brother Steve was then left to absorb the wrath of Hazel. LOL!

In all seriousness, Hazel was a great family show. Thumbs up to Sony for putting these out, hopefully the other four seasons will be released also.
