Yes,

However, Paramount was forced to use back up prints in several scenes where the original footage either no longer exists or could not be found. Cuts from the master tapes were done as early as the first syndication cycle, which is why you see these differences in film quality throughout all of the sets. With the exception of some minor edits talked about in other threads, the DVD's are complete, and are probably the best we are going to be able to get for a series that is over 35 years old.

Hi Studd,

For you:

Dough Re Mei (a.k.a Peter's Voice Is Changing.)

Extended scene of Mike, Carol, and Alice waking up in the middle of the night thinking they hear a Coyotte and it's Peter out in the car trying to get his voice back to normal. They think he's a coyotte! A scene of Peter using a vaporizer and Greg feeding him honey. (Many 16mm back ups were used in this episode to restore it.) Most are on TV Land's version of this episode.

Check out the thread "Brady Bunch Scenes/Episodes No Longer Aired." It's TONS of pages and originally had a list of the different cuts between syndication/TV Land prints, (which I helped work on along with several other board members.) Start with approximately page 12 or so. (Or back up or forward to each page accordingly.) Begining with a heading DVD restorations, I TRIED my best to do a complete list of almost all restored scenes on DVD! The list is believed to be accurate, but is NOT guarenteed. I took the above info from that list.

Jack

PS. Let me know if you can't find the page it's on.

I think every dvd is digitally remastered. It is more a question of whether the image has been restored and cleaned up where by some tech guy (or gal) cleans up every frame, getting rid of dirt etc. Check out U.F.O. from 1969 out now on dvd for some time. It looks fantastic. A cleaned up Space 1999 has also been released. Again, this looks fantastic.
