View Full Version : So since Angelino's was closed for REMODELING, why did that stop Jack from looking
TVFactFan 07-28-2006, 02:02 PM elsewhere for a Job? I mean was Angelino's the only restarunt in Santa Monica? I just thought it looked foolished for him to say-"HE IS OUT OF A JOB" until Angelino's open back up. He was supposed to go look for another job since he was supossed to pay part of the rent. That was a odd TC moment for me-lol I can't bring any money into the house because Angelino's is closed

That was strange that he wouldn't get a temporary job. I don't know how long it took to remodel Angelinos but If I was Janet or Terri, i'd make him go out and find something to bring money into the house.

I don't know why he could go to a small sandwich shop like he did in the beginning of season 5 until Angelino's opened back up

I know, at least it would give him some money.

Did he say how long Angelino's would be closed? I didn't catch the beginning.
Maybe Angelino's would be open by the time the rent rolls around again.
Also, he could have easily just given the girls the amount of $$$ he owed for the time he wasn't working.
Also, it wasn't Cindy's place to be showing the girls the $$$ she found. So what if she broke the lamp. she should have went and told Jack that she broke the lamp and handed him the $$$.

I know that ep made me hate her character even more-lol Jack never said how long Angelino's would be closed

Same here. I never really hated her. I liked her, she was cool, but that episode was sooooo stupid with Cindy doing that crap. Janet and Teri should have told Cindy don't tell us, go give it to Jack.
For all they knew, maybe Jack needed that money for something. We know it belonged to Larry, but the girls didn't know that. It wasn't their business. They didn't trust Jack???? Don't they think Jack would have given them what he owed for the time he wasn't working???
Also, there is unemployment insurance. He could have received that for the short time he would be unemployed. Duh!!!

I didn't see him as lazy.
He probably felt, was is the point of getting a job when he will be back to work soon?
How many employers will hire you if they know you don't plan on being there that long or permanently?
