follow up series?

I like the Sanford Arms, but I think Hoppy and Smitty could have been a series. Hoppy's mom could stay on the show. I think they were funny characters. Also Bubba could have joined the force or something like that. I think they were goofy characters but very enjoyable. I know Barney Miller has a similar concept, but still I think it would have been good. Aunt Esther could have guest stared too like the store is robbed or something like that. Or better yet Hoppy's mom moves in with Esther and Woody. Lots of funny concepts could have happened after the show.

yeah, I would have liked to see it. Here is another plot, Woody gets arrested for being drunk in public or something.
