View Full Version : Favourite eps coming to DVD??
KEVIN1782 07-27-2006, 11:42 AM I am looking forward to "Chuckles Bites the Dust" on Season 6. I think that is one of the classic episodes of the series. I think it is so ironic that Mary is upset with the guys for making fun of Chuckles, then in the end, she can't stop laughing during the funeral.
Also, I look forward to see the very last episode. I think I have only seen it a couple of times only. I don't think it is generally shown with the run of the series. In Canada, it usually ends at Mary and Lou's date, and then it starts over from the first episode. How about in the U.S.? Perhaps it is due to the story putting a finale to the series that it a rare episode?

It's weird Canada would skip "The Last Show." Here, we always saw it. It's one of my faves, actually. I agree about "Chuckles." You just can't top that! I wish they'd kept up the commentaries, b/c there def. should be one on that ep.

scotsguy 07-28-2006, 12:25 PM Yes Chuckles will be a great one to have on DVD,also the last episode.
I'm looking forward to seeing the other episodes in seasons 6 and 7,as cable stopped showing TMTMS in the early 90s in the UK after a few episodes of season6 so haven't seen episodes from season 6 and 7 apart from the ones on the TMTMS "Best of" video set.
Looking forward to seeing the episode where Sue-Ann's sister vists, saw a clip, looks really funny!
Kristen 07-28-2006, 03:46 PM If you've never seen Season 7, you're in for a treat when they come on DVD. IMO, season 7 is the best of the series. Some of my fave eps. are there. You'll def. have to report back once you see them.
ClassicTVGal 08-06-2006, 08:12 PM Hm... I'd have to look, but one that I'm really wanting to see again, and I may be the *only* one, but... "Murray in Love". (Season 6)
And others that have been mentioned.

No, you aren't the only one who's looking forward to that one. I know that for a fact b/c I also really like it, hehe! I've only seen that one in the N@N /TV Land version, so it'll be neat to see what's been cut.

Well I am glad that I am not the only one looking forward to this one, lol. ("Murray In Love") I just always seemed to like it, that I remember. There are others too. Like when Ted proposes to Geogrette on the air. As well as when he has an 'episode' on air. And when Rhoda & Phyllis leave, and Mary moving into her new apartment.
