This is a poll to vote for your favorite Golden Girl. I love them all, but Dorothy is my favorite because she is so wise, intelligent, quick-witted and she makes some of the best smart-alec comments.

I don't know if I can pick my favorite. It always used to think my favorite was Sophia but they are all sooooooo funny but all in completely different ways.

My favorite is Sophia because Sophia is funny. Sophia is the italian cook which is cooks good food and also hilarious.

I like them all it's too difficult to choose just one.

It's been said often in this thread, that they are all fabulous. And they are, but Dorothy's sarcastic comments are hilarious!!!

Sophia's actually my least favorite, she tries too hard to be funny and sometimes she's really not funny at all, she's never serious.

Huge Betty White fan, so I have to say Rose. Second is probably Blanche.

She's my least favorite also. That's because she's always pointed out to be "the funny one", she has an obvious way of trying to be funny (like Chandler, my least favorite on "Friends"), so I think the other 3 have much funnier moments.

But you do have to give her credit for being serious. She cried over her son's death, she was angry and upset over her friend wanting to kill herself, she threatened to disown Dorothy if she married Stan, she thought she had a heart attack...she did have many serious moments, she just didn't seem to have as many front-burner stories.

But my favorite? Ya can't beat Rose! :D

Dorothy -- she takes no crap and tells it like it is. But she also has a very soft heart. I love that!! :D

My favorite is Rose because she is so innocent and she always makes me laugh with her St Olaf stories. Second, is Sophia.

My faves are Blanche and Sophia. I love Blanche for her confidence when it comes to her looks and men, and I love Sophia for her sarcasm, and her wisdom (which usually came through her sarcasm, lol). But I agree with those who say they love them all. You couldn't have made this show without any one of these actresses.

Mine is blanche! Me and her are permiscuous and enjoy mens company quite frequently lol. She is the perfect debutante and I am following in her foot steps. I do declare :D

I love them all, but Dorothy slightly edges out the others IMO because of the way she mugs the camera :lol:

Mine is Dorothy! She just has this funny,witty & sarcastic humor about herself.I find myself laughing at her the most.She also kills me with her priceless facial expressions. I also like how the other girls usually made fun of her, talking about how she never had a man & in the final episode, she was the first to get married and leave the house! I thought that was sweet for Dorothy since she was always picked on about men!

I really love Sophia. She's feisty, smart, loving and I love her one liners. Like when she's fighting with Blanche over the same man "Beat it you 50 year old mattress".

So...Sophia first, Dorothy 2nd, Rose 3rd, Blanche last.

But I do like them all. It's just that I love Sophia!

like most have already said all 4 gals were funny in their own unique way,but if this were a million dollar question then i'd choose dorothy. :)

I LOVE all of them, but Dorothy edges out the others because she makes me laugh the most. Her lines are all based in reality whereas the other girls characters relied more on caricature type humor (albeit still HILARIOUS).

Dorothy Zbornack totally rocks! She's hilarious with her clever, sarcastic com-backs and one-liners! :lol:

Dorothy is my favorite. I love the way she holds a look while the audience is busting up (like she did on "Maude"). Her sarcastice comments (particularly to Rose) were CLASSIC also. Sophia is my second favorite.

When I watched GG whenI was younger, itwas Rose.I think because I was alittle dumb too! haha! But now im 20 and a little more grown up, I enjoy Sophias humour! I think shes my fav very closily followed by Blanche...BUT really, my fav changes with every episode :) But Ill say Sophia for now...

I voted for Rose but I like all The Golden Girls. I voted for Rose because I like the stories she tells and she is really funny but after Rose i'd probably say Blanche, Sophia, Dorothy.

Ug, I can't ever decide! I would say either Rose or Dorothy.

I'm not sure I could ever choose a favorite. They all brought me such delight and so many laughs.

I really felt sad yesterday when I heard that Bea Arthur had died. She was my favorite on the Golden Girls. Some of the funniest scenes were the ones with her ex-husband, Stan. My mother enjoyed watching the Golden Girls, also. Her favorite was Ma, Estelle Getty. My mother had a personality like her. I watch the old reruns on the Hallmark channel in the morning. Just the laughter and jokes help to get me in a good frame of mind.:lol:

Rose was my favorite-----I loved how the other girls would smack her over her head with the newspaper. And Rose said it never hurt.:wave:

So glad to see how many people loved Dorothy/Bea... it's a lovely tribute to a wonderful actress...

I love 'em all because they all bring different qualities to the show. But Dorothy is my #1 GG of 'em all. I will soooooooooo miss Bea A., may she r.i.p.
