Dear E! Entertainment Television,
My favorite show on your network is "The E! True Hollywood Story." With that in mind, I have a proposal for you: a 2-hour "E! True Hollywood Story" on the hit TV game show "Double Dare," which became the first successful kids' game show in television history--and put a then-low-rated cable network called Nickelodeon on the map. A major factor in why your channel should do this is because of host Marc Summers' battle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, a chemical imbalance in the brain. I should know about that because I myself have it. During its 7-year run on Nickelodeon, "Double Dare" spawned a slew of mostly short-lived rip-offs--most notably "Fun House," which aired on FOX and in syndication from 1988-1991. Before becoming announcer on the show, Harvey was (and still is) a local radio DJ in his native Philadelphia. Thank you for reading this letter.
Sincerely,
Edward Bear
