Hi all,
Well we all know that WKRP was re-dubbed with different music for syndication and I've read countless articles how it will probably never be released on DVD because of music rights issues, however are there any complete "undubbed" DVD sets floating around without the replaced music? How is the quality?

sometimes i have seen a 15 or a 20 UNCUT set appear for sale on auction sites
BUT its always cut music-- just listed as uncut to pull people in!

hi, i was "mining" the internet the other day and came across someone's list that had a wkrp set with original music. forgot to put the page in my favs and now i don't know where it was. maybe i'll come across it again. if so, i'll let you know. thanks

Actually Lamont, I belive I originated the 15 disk set, and I used sources that were taken from the first syndication of the show which is why the music is intact, and to my knowledge, all the shows are uncut.

I have a 17 disc set of the show. It was from the first syndications of WKRP. The show is not uncut but it does have original music.

I've been bugging people about this on other threads, but I've been trying to get more episodes of HEAD OF THE CLASS.

Anyway, if you want a set we can discuss a trade.

I actually got my set from someone else. He recorded his from a local TV station instead of N@N or E!.

I have a WKRP set with 18 disks they are from the 1st airing if that helps any/ Quality on the set is 8.5 out of 10

hi, i have a 15 disc set that was recorded from tnn that i got from a fellow trader. does anyone know if these are the ones with the original music? they seem to have original music to me. please let me know. thanks

Does that mean that they were aired on CBS and not from syndication?

Just my opinion but I dont think anything is truly uncut unless it's the original network broadcast. So when people say they have sets of WKRP or other shows that might be true but I wouldnt want to collect anything other than the original network broadcast. But that is just me.
