Brian 07-26-2006, 05:33 PM I dont think you even have to do that do ya, if you start it out http:// it automatically makes it a link. He probably doesn't have it so that it automatically parses links in text. It's under "Miscelleaneous Options" right below the "Submit Reply" and "Preview Post" buttons. theshark8777 07-26-2006, 05:36 PM Ahhh, I didn't know that... I just thought it was default... :) D.J. 07-27-2006, 12:22 AM Back on topic, I'm very surprised about this. I always liked Harold so this is very shocking. ESPN is now without Harold Reynolds and Peter Gammons. Dr. Jazz 07-27-2006, 01:04 AM I read where Harold said his main goal now is to try and get his job back. He said that all he did was hug a female ESPN employee and she took it the wrong way. He had to have done something more than that for them to let him go after him working there for 10 years. I wish they hadn't fired Harold because I looked forward to seeing him and John Kruk going at it on Baseball Tonight every night lol Dr. John Becker 07-27-2006, 06:12 AM Who was he harrassing? I hope it wasn't Kruk. ;) TVFactFan 07-27-2006, 07:34 PM I read where Harold said his main goal now is to try and get his job back. WTH is that?! Sexual Harassment?! This sh*t is beyond me. TVFactFan 07-29-2006, 01:20 PM Harold Reynolds got sacked just for a hug?! WTH is that?! Sexual Harassment?! This sh*t is beyond me. If it was just a HUG would he have really gotten fired? So it's obvious ihe is lying. Plus you are not supposed to HUG women at your job Tweety 08-05-2006, 03:57 PM A letter in the NY Post said it very well: "Am I the only one who finds it ironic that, of all corporations, it was ESPN that fired Harold Reynolds for "sexual harassment?" I wonder, had Harold threatened to "pimp slap" the alleged victim if anything would've happened to him. Maybe he would've been encouraged to use the line on SportsCenter. Oh, wait a minute . . . Stuart Scott already does! Maybe then the woman's reaction would've made the "He got Jacked-up!" segment. Seriously, since when does ESPN suddenly have standards?" Great letter, posted at http://www.nypost.com/sports/sound_off_sports_.htm Don't know how long it will be up there. ESPN is a joke. I refuse to watch anything with Stuart Scott, because I never could stand the guy.. but does Scott actually use that phrase? I can totally believe that he does. Wonder if ESPN will give some thought to banning phrases like that...naaaaahhhh! |
